Welcome to Green Ridge R-VIII School District! This is a GR-8 place to learn! Our student performance is impressive and the parent support is generous. We have all of the ingredients for Green Ridge R-VIII School District to be a model school district - one of the BEST! Continuing to improve takes a lot of hard work and the GR-8 staff members are working hard to meet high expectations. We expect a lot of our students, too, as we work to ensure they all graduate college and are career ready. Our students are doing a GR-8 job!

From Mrs. Schreck: "Today we learned the three states of matter! Students observed that a root beer float contains all three states of matter! The ice cream is solid, root beer is a liquid and when the two come together the carbonation creates a gas. YUM!"
