Bailey (Harding) Weiker came to GR8 last week to speak to the Juniors and Seniors about HR topics, such as job applications and interviews, resumes, and general expectations of employers before and after receiving employment, etc. This visit was orchestrated by Mrs. Benitz, RootEd advisor.  Bailey is a 2018 Green Ridge graduate. She is currently completing her Masters of Business Administration at UCM while working as a Senior HR Generalist for the university. Thank you, Bailey, for giving our students some wonderful career information and advice!
Class 1 District 8 Girls Basketball Tournament starts this evening in Green Ridge. Green Ridge plays La Monte at 5:00, Bunceton/Prairie Home plays Sacred Heart at 6:30, and Sweet Springs plays Otterville at 8:00 p.m. District t-shirts will be sold in the lobby for $16/18/20 per t-shirt. Admission to the District Tournament is $6 per person for all of those over the age of 6, there is no discount for senior citizens. Good luck to everyone! Go TigerNation

Harmony traveled to Harrisonville for their show choir competition today. Long day at a new-to-them competition. Harmony came with a second place win this time right behind Carrollton.
Harmony travels to Nevada next Saturday, February 17th for a 12:45pm performance time.
