Congrats to the Running Tigers who had a good showing at the Blue Bird Invitational in Cole Camp. PR's were set and medals earned. * Weston Crawford: 3rd in long jump 2nd in high jump  *Rylee Donaldson: 2nd in 1600 meter *Wyatt Brosch: 3rd in javelin  *Mark Pavlioglo: 2nd triple jump 3rd high jump *Wyatt Brosch, Jack Hoos, Mark and Raul Ramirez, 3rd in the 4 x 100 meter relay 

First graders were playing a GR8 game of sight word BINGO today for review!

Green Ridge High School students attended an assembly today presented by The Missouri Department of Transportation and speaker Cara Filler. Cara spoke on the importance of making safe choices and safe driving. We are grateful to have her come speak to our students about these important decisions.

Important Baseball Information: Baseball is playing at Liberty Park (Sedalia) this evening. As of right now the game against Sacred Heart is still on as scheduled. The game has been adjusted to start at 5:30 p.m. There will be free admission to every person that brings a canned good, or a non-perishable item. Please see the attached flyer.

From Mrs. Anderson: "Introducing Mallory Reed, your new Missouri FBLA Vice President of Relations!"

From Mrs. Anderson: "Callie punched her ticket to the National Leadership conference in Orlando, FL this summer. She placed 3rd in Introduction to Business Communications. Mallory came up just short of Nationals placing 6th in Future Business Leader. Great Job competitors who placed at the State Leadership Conference!"

From Mrs. Davis: "Mrs. Davis’s 4th grade class, getting their Interactive Math Notebook ready for our new math unit. Lots of cutting and pasting going on."

Mrs. White's American Literature class has been studying "The Crucible," a play by Arthur Miller.

Mrs. Nevels is getting her students prepared for the upcoming MAP test with a review of exponents.

From Mrs. Anderson: "Now that voting is over we can announce! Today, students help campaign for Mallory! She decided to run for a State Office position, and it has been such a learning experience.  All students jumped in where they were needed to help out.  Students also attended workshops and networking activities."

Day 2 of Kindergarten Screening!!! Class of '37 is shaping up nicely!!! Welcome to our newest Tiger Cubs!

From Mrs. Anderson: "Students attended Day 1 of the Missouri FBLA State Leadership Conference. Students attended competitions, workshops, and community service events.  At opening session: Miley accepted the Gold Level Chapter of the Year award.   Miley and Mallory were recognized for over 200 community service hours. Mallory was recognized for completing the advocate FBLA Business Achievement awards. Mallory also CRUSHED her speech to end the night!"

Baseball and Softball will be playing tomorrow's contests in Smithton. Green Ridge will be the home team in both contests and will start at 5:00 p.m.
