Mrs. Piscopo's students LOVED the book "Santa's Stuck" by Rhonda Gowler Greene. They were excited to retell ALL the details! Then, they were able to create their own chimney, where Santa got stuck of course!🎅🏻

From Ms. Schmidli: "6th graders had a discussion about how in today’s world there are many distractions that keep us from truly paying attention to the things around us. If we aren’t using our senses, it is difficult to write, or talk about them. They completed an activity to activate their sense of smell and strengthen their writing by smelling unknown, household items and then used imagery with strong adjectives to describe the smell."
